Hi There,

Quick question: How to apply TexturingXYZ maps directly on to the CC3 characters with Skingen without any external software?
There are many users who are only focused and using Character Creator to create amazing looking digital humans and either can't afford or don't have the knowhow of using zbrush or other software to further enhance their work.
Does anyone know of any method, tutorial, tips on how to use and apply TexturingXYZ maps directly on to the CC3 characters with Skingen.
Please use this thread to post tips, tricks, tutorials and more.
Would be great to have an official tutorial made for this workflow as well as the photogrammetry workflow tutorials made available freely for all to learn from rather than having it behind a pay wall as at present.

Thanks!

I'm bumping this up because this is something I'd like to know about also. The way the video that was released showed how to do this looked like it required maya and was incredibly complicated. Though I can't argue with the results as the final character looked incredibly life like! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa1S5Bqna9E

I may try using software like Cubism live2d to generate a UV transformer in the future.  With a bit of trial and error it should be possible to create a transform function in that software to make one UV fit onto another - it's not automatic, it's a manual process, but once one is created it can be used for any other future maps and is easily modified.  I imagine there are other ways to generate such transforms, but this is some software that I have.  Then, it's as simple as loading the map in Cubism, and exporting the new one.
