I’ve just re-installed iClone, Character Creator and 3D exchange onto my new 1TB external SSD.
Before I re-install all of the content, will I notice a big difference if I install my purchased content onto the same SSD, rather than installing onto my 1TB HDD?
Just concerned that I’ll end up topping my SSD up.
Thanks

Hi,

My suggestion is program install into SSD and content install to HDD.
That will have a better balance between space and performance. :D

In addition to what Edward is suggesting, I would consider a larger HDD for content.

Also, I would be a bit concerned having the programs on an external SSD in view of system stability. The interface of internal drives (SATA) is usually faster than for external drives, depending on the interface type.

So after re-installing all Reallusion products onto my external SSD, it just doesn’t sit comfortably. I’ve done some research and thinking and I have decided to follow your advice animagic.
I am going to purchase a new 1TB SSD M.2. I’m going to use it as the OS drive (C: ) and install Reallusion apps on there too.
I am also going to replace the 1TB HHD with a 1TB SSD and use that drive for my content and projects.
I know it’s a ball ache re-installing all other applications but I will spend some time double checking these first (especially registration).
Thanks again for all your help.
