Now Available...
3DXchange4 connects the best 3D models to iClone! 3DXchange4 is a model conversion and editing tool that connects iClone to unlimited 3D content. Import models in 3DS, OBJ, Google SKP or FBX and ready them for iClone with material & texturing tools. Import animated skin-bone characters in FBX format and convert them to iClone models with animation. Export iClone models in OBJ format to edit, sculpt and paint in external 3D software, like ZBrush, Photoshop, SketchUp, Blender, 3DSMax, Maya and more. Maximize access to the best content by importing free 3D models from Google 3D Warehouse or popular character models from DAZ3D and Poser libraries. Thanks.

Guess what I have been doing today. Making the brilliant new creature a mate. Different textures slightly smaller no long horns and no feathers. Well it does seem to be that the males of the species has to be flash:D:P

This is a fantastic new version of 3d exchange opens up a whole new world of the content that can be worked on in different types of 3d software then through exchange have it working inside of iClone.

The zip file can be extracted to any folder you wish. You will just need to navigate to the correct folder to open them in 3DXchange.

My favorite moddeling software is Hexagon. This works fine with xchange4 together I have editing with Hexagon the meshes of the head to make a Head morph and to change the look of the shirt. :)
Here the pictures of my first experience

This all looks very exciting...
Does this mean that a character built in Maya based on the iClone standard character format could do lip-sync when imported into iClone4pro via 3dx4pro ??
I am hoping to get a friend who has Maya to make me a rather slim chested young lady witch with a distinctly simplified face...
Would he be able to use my characters designers resource pack for this ??
regards Nic

How are users finding the facial animation abilities on 3DXchange-imported character models? I mean - after importing the various DAZ, Maya, Blender models that are online?
