Problems installing FaceFilter help

I attempted to download FaceFilter Help and received the message that an active program of FaceFilter was running and to close it down before downloading help.  Problem is, FaceFilter will not close without closing everything - including the downloading of help.  How can I resolve this?

Hi,

Which version of FaceFilter are you referring to? FF1, FF2, Studio, Live etc.

If you are running FaceFilter Studio 2.0 then the help system is part of the program and is accessed by clicking the "?" button at the top right of the screen (or press F1). There is nothing to download.

Could you explain a little more about what the problem is you are having. I'm puzzled by your reference to downloading "Help".

I apologize, I should have been more specific.  I am using FaceFilter Studio which came on the software included with my Brother printer.  The instructions state to install FaceFilter Studio, then install FaceFilter Studio Help for instructions on using FaceFilter Studio.  The 'help' installation instructions state to start FaceFilter, then click on the ? button.  Then click on check for updates, then download the help instructions.  The final step states to close FaceFilter Studio first.  That's where the problem comes in.  I cannot close FaceFilter Studio without closing the entire program which in turn stops the download. 

When I clicked on the ? button after installing FaceFilter Studio, it did not have 'help' instructions without requiring a download.

Thanks for explaining the situation in more detail. The download for FaceFilter Studio 2.0 from this website includes the help file in the single installation. No further downloads are required.

Obviously the version included with your printer is different. If you were given a serial number you could register it on your Premium Members page and then try downloading the latest copy from the website.
