I'm working on a scene and it's got some windows where I'm trying to project god rays through them, but I can't quite seem to get the rays to shine through the window correctly. I've tried various settings with the god rays themselves but the rays shine through the ceiling and depending on the camera angle, doesn't look quite right.
Is there any way to attach the god ray particles to a window or object or has anyone had any success with god rays and windows?
Here's a render of the scene I'm working on. As you can see the god rays don't quite shoot out from the window, but more down from the ceiling - even though I tried setting the XYZ axis for the rays to various degrees.

thebiz.movies posted a link to this prop, https://marketplace.reallusion.com/cc-light-shafts-prop-pack, which I had to try, because godrays are a major goal of mine. The set's not great and I had to play with glows, GI, and tone mapping, but the rays themselves are pretty good. Better than most I've tried. In my image, you can see where they intersect the floor, but I think that would be less noticeable in yours. If I use them in an actual project I'll probably animate them to replicate a slight flicker or movement, but for being an inexpensive prop, they're pretty cool.
