Hello, I am new here and I am evaluating acquiring CC3, using trial version now.
My main entry point is the ability to import daz3D characters into Unreal. I know I'm going to lose some Daz morphs and I'm fine with that, however this is my problem:
I am trying to import this DAZ3D character into UE4: 
I follow some advice from Mike Kelley and I used this workarounds for hidden faces: https://forum.reallusion.com/365725/RE-v721-Workaround-for-the-Failure-to-Autoconvert-Daz-Genesis-Characters#bm365728The only thing I did in CC3 itself was hide all the overlapping body parts (In the Left leg, Right arm, head) and I deleted the eyes and teeth, because they overlap with the helmet. Everything works in CC3, but in the Unreal engine import process I have this crash: Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x000000b0

Does anyone had this problem. I am doing something that i shouldn't in CC3?
Also, I was able to import a simple CC3 character into UE4 I am using Unreal 4.25.1 with the last CC3 plugin
I would like to buy this software, but I'm running out of trials in the trial version haha Thanks a lot

Just adding a little more of information. I opened the cc3 generated file in blender, it open the mesh file just fine (so I suppose UE4 is crashing because the material setup). However, the hidden faces in cc3 are not longer hidden in the exported FBX.

Sadly lots of problems. I dont know if i am doing something wrong. I reallly would like that CC3 works out of the box with this workflow, it would be an instant buy for me.

Ok, I manage to import the cc3 model into UE4 WITHOUT the UE4 plugin. So at least i know the bug is in the cc3 UE4 plugin.

How many triangles do you have in IClone/CC3?

Hi! the project triangle count is 248194. Its pretty high for what I need, so probably I will decimate it when I manage to get the plugin working (note that I am only testing the tool to figure it out if it is worth the buy)

Well I just decimate the character to 50k tri count but the crash is still there. There is something I am doing with the char (like hidding meshes, that the UE4 plugin doesn't like). I suppose the plugin is still in an early stage. I wish i could get some informative log about what is happening.
As an additional info the plugin always crash processing "core_pbr_ncl".
Well i suppose I will wait until this is working before buying the software, it would be awesome time saver.

Thank you for the feedback but please remember to report any issues you find in the Feedback Tracker. This is monitored directly by the CC team so they will investigate the issue. To help them, please supply a download link to your character and provide the steps you take leading up to the crash. The team will then let you know their findings in the tracker. Thanks.

Was there any solution to this? I am lucky to import about 1 in 4 characters created this way. crashes occur transferring through LiveLink or direct import - exported as LOD from Character Creator or direct FBX from iClone
