Hello,
I have downloaded a plugin to test before purchase and it was very limited. Faceware plugin trail version doesn't allow me to record anything at all. I have bought the iPhone X plugin for the facial animation but after a while, I noticed it is not as smooth as it should be for my animation scenes (Lots of data loss.) So I am thinking of to BUY Faceware just for the sake of trying it and (Record) with it.

Can I refund the plugin (Faceware) after purchase if it wasn't any better than what the iPhone X can give me? How easy is the process?

Thanks!

This isn't the answer you're looking for, but as someone who owns both plugins can I tell you that Faceware is not as good, IMHO, as Live Face.

And Live Face ought to work fine for you -- remember that the preview mode doesn't matter, it's the actual rendering of the animation that should be smooth.  If it isn't, try connecting via ethernet (I haven't had any issues with wi-fi or USB either, but Ethernet should be the fastest and most reliable).  Honestly, you'll never get any better.

Hmmm. That is sad to know.
I am recording with the iPhone X plugin and even when I render the scene. There are data loss, lags, and skipping. I have a very good WiFi at home though.
I just wanted to grab the Plugin before it's no longer on Covid19 sale soon. I will buy that ethernet connector and give it a try.

Hi Kelleytoons ,

How do you connect via ethernet an Iphone to a pc ? I managed to connect via the USB port, which removed a lot of lag but not the jitter.
If you can point me out a tutorial for how to cennect via ethernet , it's welcome Smile

Sorry, I'm less than 36 hours away from surgery and SO limited here I can't do much.  But it's covered in the plugin manual (there really isn't much to it -- you turn to airplane mode, connect your ethernet adapter, and you're good to go).

Oh! Thank you , I never thought that there is an ethernet adapter for Iphone available.
I wish you a speedy recovery.
