Hi, I played alittle with PopcornFX torch fire. I am not able to achieve a flickering of thelight with it. The "Light intensity" parameter seems to play a roleto avoid the abrupt changes in brightness that you can see in the video. The smaller it is set, the smaller the changes in brightness are, but the lesslight is emitted. I would appreciate any tip.

Somewhere below "light intensity" in the Popcorn FX controls, there ought to be a slider labeled something along the lines of "variability" or "flicker" or "turbulence" (it varies between props), that if you increase it (rather than the intensity) one ought to give you more or less "flicker". It might also change the frequency of the flicker, but that might need to be adjusted in the Wind/Force controls...
I'm not at the computer where I can check exactly but you might open up all the little dropdowns and look for something along those lines.
Hope that helps Nicole

The slider you want is "Emission Turbulence".

Many thanks, Nicole and Rampa, for taking time for my problem. Yes, the slider "Emission Turbulence" in combination with the "Emission" (below "Global Scale") was what I was looking for. Now it flickers better!
