I can anyone suggest any voice changing software that will work with Cartoon Animator 4 and Crazy Talk? I was hoping to try my hand with a view to maybe using it to tutorial some software we use at work - any advice would be greatly appreciated before I commit to purchase.

I use Morphvox Screaming Bee
it also can morph existing files and TTS as well as playing live as you chat on Skype etc

I am only on iC6 but I never record within the app, I always load an mp3 or wav file under script, even with TTS as you can edit and clean up the recording in Audacity or other software first. I have never found the record quality of iClone at least up to 6 to be as good as loading a wav file recorded by other means.

You can usually get rid of most of the artifacts by running the audio thru an EQ with the high end reduced.

Besides MorphVox, there is also a program called 'Voxal' (https://www.nchsoftware.com/voicechanger/index.html)
I used it for a few projects and got some nice results. Even though it's gui was a bit confusing at first, i really like it.
You can load or record wave files and also use it in realtime, as it injects itself into your standard mic input.
As a side note: i initally used a basic headset microphone, but now with a seperate semi-pro mic it works much better (no wonder).
