You might find some weapons in the freebies section at www.coolclones.com - I did a very quick search and didn't find anything, but I'm almost positive I've seen some there if you take the time go through all the props.You could also check the RL newsletter archives as they have given away free weapons I believe.
As for modern Soldiers, I'm not sure if these qualify, but these two packs are available now at www.coolcreators.com. You will need various clone cloth base models for these except the females which are all based on default Jana. The weapons are not included but they are all from the WW2 pack, so probably not ideal for these photos - :)
And this one should be there in a day or two.
