Should I save animations from Mixamo at 30fps or 60fps? The tutorials state 30fps, but since IClone renders at 60fps I was wondering which would work better.

30 FPS or even less is fine.

The reason is that you get a keyframe for every frame. By using lower FPS, iClone will interpolate between frames, which may result in smoother movements. An exception would be very fast movements which a lot of detail.

My experience is that Mixamo motions are great at 12-15 FPS. As Animagic says, it is the sampling rate of the motion, not the playback rate.

Thanks. I wanted to check before downloading them.

I would go ahead and download therm at the higher rate. 3DXchange has a rate conversion on import. I set the frame rate on import, not download.
