Animating Police Car Sirens

Hi
Question 1: I'm trying to animate sirens on a police car. I loaded a sphere prop to which I apply a glow to make it blurry. Then I keyframe the opacity to animate the siren flashing, copy the sphere, change its color, move it to the other siren and delay it a bit in the timeline. The glow is not big enough though. It doesn't get blurry enough.
Does anyone know of a better way to do this? I have Popcorn FX, don't know if it helps.

Question 2: Is there a way to merge multiple props into one. Not attach or link, where if you attach let's say 6 props, they're parented to the parented, but there still are 6 props. I  want to merge them into just one prop.

Thanks

There is a merge option on the parent of the subprop in the attach menu.

If you go to Visual/HDR settings you can adjust the bloom scale to get as big a "glow" area as you'd like.

Also, if you go into the 'Light' section of the 'Atmosphere' (used to be called 'Stage', I think, to the left of 'Props') section you will find a pre-canned animation of alternating blue/red lights flashing that you can pop into your scene to illuminate it.  I'm at work right now so can't give more specific directions.  Hope that helps
