I will not get this approved if i show video examples of wizards or other 'non-people' characters.  I need to show something that would be similiar to Sales Discussions of new products, HR type training, Product Demo's, Product Commercial, etc..

Can someone please provide me some links that I can share with my management as demonstrations of what we will be able to create with this product.  Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Here is a fake car commercial. It is in Chinese, but see if you can use it to help your case. If I knew someone was looking for examples, I would have spent more time on it. So maybe you can tell your boss it can be better if more time are put into it :)

If the HD options (either 1080p or 720p) are presented to you, select it for better viewing quality. Viewing it in full screen mode also helps to make it look better.

I didn't keep track of the time spent, but it was done over the weekend. Most of the time was spent on trying to come up with a concept that could be done with assets (props, stock royalty-free music, etc) that I had. Time spent inside iClone was probably no more than 2 hours.

That's the beauty of iClone. It is easy to use so one can spend the time on what really matters - working on the concept and exploring ways to execute it.

Almost all aspects of the video can be better if more time are put into it.

You probably know that you should at least get 3DXchange, in addition to iClone Pro. If there is any possibility that you may use CrazyTalk, get the bundle that includes the three.

Update: moved it back to Comedy - didn't feel comfortable leaving it among real car commercials. I don't think there is a legal issue though. I put it in Comedy section and it was there the first day when I checked in to choose a thumbnail. The car brand doesn't exist and the video description and the tag clearly indidate it is a joke.

Umm...hate to break it to you, but no sensible person is going to mistake this for a real car commercial.

Personally, I just don't see how iClone would be useful in a corporate training environment.  In fact, the program is only good for wizards, fairies, and other "non-people" characters.  Even the human characters look cartoonish.  Plus, you would be wasting your company's money if you do not have a video editing and compositing suite to go with this purchase.

Wizards are definately out, but cartoon characters or other (human) animated images will work fine. 

The objective is to entertain while educating and this is the future to meeting those objectives.

Great to hear your company supported your plans for iClone and Crazytalk. I'm sure you will find the possibilities pretty much limitless.

You might also like to take a look at the new popVideo Converter 2.0 which now allows one click chromakeying. This allows you to do in seconds what could have taken hours previously, and required the use of expensive video editors.

Please share with us anything you produce with iClone or Crazytalk. We would love to see it. :)

I would advise you that even the pro version has a limited number of default animations and characters that you may not be aware of. Included clothing and hairstyles are also very limited without further purchases. 

Many people find this upsetting that the unstated expectation is to purchase much more additional content in the content store.  Animating characters outside of the default movements can be very frustating and time-consuming.  Often times, when users ask for assistance here, they are referred to purchasing additional content.  They will even try to sell you a smile, as opposed to just showing you...  https://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost44067.aspx

I also recommend you review the issues thread to understand the buggy-ness of the program, which could cause delays in your production; especially, when you could be facing tight deadlines for producing results.

I think the programs are a fun set of tools for hobbyist and I would highly recommend it for such a purpose, but I would warn you of the hidden costs; especially, if you are not a 3d artists and you are placing your neck and professional reputation out on the line for this.  There is a reason you cannot find examples of corporate training on the web using iclone...

If you are able to share with us examples of what you produce, I would be very interested to see how the software is used in a training environment.

I'm very fortunate that my company is aware that the costs to produce a product will increase as I learn the product more and begin to 'purchase' additional content.  So, I'm lucky there.

They have also agreed to purchase additional training for me as I request to assist with my learning curve.

I promise to post an example of my first project once I've purchased what I need and can figure out what I'm doing.

Fortunately, I didn't link any "complaint threads" only those that show known issues with the program, "wishful features" which highlight some great ideas by current users, and a thread where a common practice is highlighted - where experienced forum members refer new users to buy more content instead of just showing them how to accomplish a simple task, like smiling.  It's hard to temper the facts.

If the law is on your side, you argue the law.  If facts are on your side, you argue facts. When nothing is on your side, you just keep arguing.  You'll find a lot of forum users who just want to argue with me when issues or opposing views are brought up, regardless of the obvious facts staring them in the face. 

One thing you can be sure of, I'll never charge you for an answer to a question.  I'll tell you how it is and then show you a work around... for free.
