Hello, I have just purchased Cartoon Animator 4 Pro after going through hours of tutorials, and something I didn't think about was that I wouldn't have access to the Photoshop import/export features, seeing as I don't want to pay an extra $100 for them.
Okay, so I have absolutely no idea how to setup a moving iris without importing from PS. Is there a way to do this? I have been trying for like an hour and I can't figure out if it's even possible. The documentation is confusing and I've seen nearly every youtube tutorial, and I can't seem to find an answer.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately this is not what I'm talking about. It is possible to make an eye and then add an iris on top of it via layers to animate. The issue is that the "Facial Animation Setup" doesn't recognize the extra layers as the "Eye Ball" and treats everything as the "Eye." This means that in any automated presets the layers you add (the eye ball) won't move. This also means that masking doesn't work, and even animating it manually is a pain due to the overlapping parts and them being treated as one body part.
In case there is still any confusion, this is what I want to do: CrazyTalk Animator 3.1 Pipeline Tutorial - Designing A Fully Functional Masked Eyes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VobLWL7FBHU&t=436s
I know this is for 3.1, but as far as I know the process hasn't changed for 4.1. The problem is that the Photoshop import/export features are Pipeline exclusive and I don't know how to do this in the Pro version. When I made my decision to purchase Pro instead of Pipeline I didn't see anywhere in the comparison chart that masked eyes were Pipeline exclusive : https://www.reallusion.com/cartoon-animator/version-comparison.html
If masked eyes are not possible with the Pro version, then I don't see why it's not listed in the comparison chart, because it's kind of a big deal.
Thanks again.

Unfortuntely, I think we can't create eyes with moving iris in the Pro version. The best you can do is to create sprites for the eyes eg. iris in the centre, on the left & right ...etc .. separately. Thanks.
