I was under the impression that the 'Headshot' plugin was available at the 'earlybird' special price of $99 until December 31st, however I can no longer "locate" the post where I read that, even after much searching (it may have *vanished*). --- Long story short - I've saved my pennies (borrowed actually), and now when going to the Reallusion store it's telling me the plugin is $129. Can anyone shed any light on this please? Thanks .....

I can see it at $99 on my Reallusion Account. Top right screen there is a blue box with members specials notifications it is there amongst other deals.

After signing into your Reallusion account, on your 'Registration' page there's a large blue box which displays various *deals* - It's labelled "Member Special Campaign Notifications", and it has various *offers* continually scrolling through it ...... ~ Steve ~

as a longtime user of RL products (IC since version etc.)
I'm really disappointed now.
I have not seen this ominous button anywhere.
I felt like Toy-Story-Lab.
I bought the headshot plugin for $ 129.
The price for $ 99 I got nowhere indicated - not synonymous in my user account.
It was only with the link Sonic7 has set today,
but I already bought the plugin last week
That's a bit unfair.

It's just that I *remembered* the $99 figure in one of the 'pre-release' threads. I'm not referring to Mike's *guestimate* - although he was right on with his estimate. Anyway, since more than a week had passed since the release, (and having seen member's results with using the plugin), I wanted to buy it before the offer ended. I went in and could only find it at $129 - which surprised me - so that's why I wanted some *feedback* about the $99 figure, hence this thread. Dutchess then kindly helped me out. But I had no idea there were any other associated problems. :(

Thank you 4u2ges for that clarification ... So it was really a concession made by Reallusion for those who had purchased Crazy Talk 8 Pipeline? I wish I'd seen that. I feel so bad. I do wish to apologize to Reallusion and to any one else that I've upset. I had (incorrectly) thought that the $99 was across the board. I'm so sorry about this :blush:
@Wires, Postfrosch & Dorothy - I am very sorry for the confusion I caused you .... Please understand that it was a kindness on Reallusion's part to consider recent CT8 buyers .....

I got the Ct 8 pipeline and just like Toystory-Lab no blue box with the link for the special price of $ 99 for the headshot module received. I bought it for $ 129.

Just a thought.
All the things I see within the blue box are from emails that I received from Reallusion.
So those of you that do not see the blue box have you subscribed to receive emails.
Go to My Account and see if you have the subscribed ticked perhaps this might be the reason.
Lets hope that this is the simple solution if not I suggest you contact support.

I have registered for the email reception in my user account and also regularly receive news and offers from RL But for this topic, I have received nothing.
It is also not deleted (the folder has not been cleaned since September) or has been moved to the Spam folder. The "read folder" also goes back to early November. There was nothing on this topic in it. The ominous blue box for this is / was not there. I have a Bluebox for Blackfriday. CT 8 pipeline I have already since it appeared.
I bought the HeadshotplugIn at a member premium price (they save $ 70) for $ 129. I would have preferred $ 99 $

This was a good will gesture for those users who now wished to switch to Headshot.

As i own CT8 pipeline, CC3 pipeline and IC7, i am eligible for the $99 offer.
And i purchased Headshot (for $99) with the link (now deleted) provided by sonic7 on 11/30/19...
So, i did not "loose" anything, but without sonic7 i would have missed it,
and some members definately payed more as they should...
I did NOT get the "Headshot $99 offer" e-mail (have a "working" e-mail subscription for years).
I get regularly RL-Mails (Reality Check, TV Updates, Elite, Content News, Magazin, Webinar)...
And why does the "Blue Box" apparently NOT appear in german accounts??
Could you please do some research about that (german accounts)?

Headshot and 1000 Morphs for the price of $ 99
Unfortunately, I only got the part for a member special super bargain price (they save $ 70) from $ 129 and bought it as well. (how do most of the users ??)
Can not change that anymore is just like that (even if it annoys me)
I was surprised that there was no Earlybird offer. The headshot plugin was there from one day to the next (just in time for the November announcement)
Now I have only two questions:
The Treadopener "Sonic7" or "Duchess 110" has bought IClone 7 or CC3 Creator pipeline and CT8 pipeline shortly before the appearance of the "HeadshotPlugin" (which according to Peter (RL) the requirement for this price of $ 99 and the link in the user account was)? (I have IC 7 / CC 3 Creator pipeline and CT 8 pipeline)
If not - why did you get this link into your user account?
So as I said, that's only interest, because I can not change it anyway

I have found Realusion a fair-minded bunch, so if anyone has a genuine query I would recommend contacting support.
I had a misunderstanding with a special offer purchase not too long ago so I explained what had happened, they looked into it and as a goodwill gesture they said would honor the offer I was after.
I was so pleased and they gained my respect for the way they treated me as a customer.

I'm glad I read this before I purchased Headshot, since I qualify for the $99 offer! It's a nice offer after having invested so much in these Reallusion pipelines over the past 10 years.
It feels like the CrazyTalk pipeline will be discontinued in the near future, after all, it has basically been replaced by Headshot + CC3, at least in the eyes of many CrazyTalk users. I wonder if Reallusion has said anything about a possible discontinuation of CT8 recently.
So far, Headshot seems to improve the workflow of custom facial modelling considerably compared to CT8, especially since it has an option to create custom hair models; something that CT8 didn't have, which made CT8 almost useless for me, unless I needed to create and animate a completely bald model. Adding hair to CT8 models in iClone never worked for me, and I didn't have the budget to purchase additional hair assets, so I'm pretty excited about Headshot right now (which is just in time, since I was about to move to other developers for 3D modelling and animation of faces!).
Anyway, a big thanks to Reallusion for the 'loyalty'-discount on Headshot. Rewarding loyalty is the right thing to do, if you'd ask me.

Yes, I agree with that,
Unfortunately, this "loyalty offer" came! never with me.
(Probably not with many other users)
The one Ct8 pipeline, Icloene 7 or CC 3 must have bought shortly before the release of the headshot plugin,
to get the offer of $ 99 was probably not crucial. Duchess has acquired her programs 2015-2018
and still get the $ 99 offer. (Thanks to Duchess for this information)
I bought these programs at the same time (probably at about the same time) and did NOT receive this offer
And no the mail was NOT
- in the Spam folder
- deleted or swallowed by the antivirus program
I get all emails with advertising from RL - these are not.
I have the headhot plug-in shortly after its publication
for the reduced membership price of $ 129 (for lack of another offer) purchased and included.
The amount has already been deducted from my account.
A contact with the support was therefore no more bring. Have just paid $ 30 too much (like some others)
Thus, this topic is also worked out and eaten for me.
A stale taste, which I will remember, but remains
