It seems somebody made a ruler at one time to allow for measuring heights of people and possible props etc but I can't find it. In CC how would one make a person 6 foot tall and another on at 5 foot with repeatable accuracy? CC would be a good place to have this but in IClone it would work too.

The height if a character, or any other selected item, is shown in Info at the top left of the stage.
It can be turned on and off by using the Ctrl+F keys, or checking the box in the Preferences panel. The units can be set to either CM or FT, depending on what you require.
The height can be adjusted using the Height Morph slider and changes are shown in real time in the Info section.

Perfect Gerry! That will do what I want just fine. It does seem that somebody made a ruler back in IClone 5 or something that did this too.

I made one many years ago that shows both CM and Ft and it is 100 CM or just over 3' 3" long. I've attached it in this post. If you duplicate it and move it by 100 you can double the length. The Pivot is at one end which makes rotating easier.

Attached 3 measurement props:
- Ruler 10 meter in cm bottom
- Ruler 2 meter in cm raised
- 4 poles Red 2 meter, Green 1,75 meter, Blue 1,5 meter, Yellow 1 meter
