Modifying an imported 3d model in Character Creator 3

I know it is possible to modify a Character Creator base model.

For example, it is possible to take a Character Creator female base model and increase or decrease the size of the model's legs, arms, butt, hips, cheeks, etc.

Is it possible to import a human 3d model from a different 3d program, for example Blender or 3d Studio Max, and modify the size of it's body parts the same way? Or are body modifications only for Character Creator base models?

Can the same modifications be done to an imported Daz 3D model? There are a few Daz 3D models I am considering buying and importing into Character Creator 3 for use. However, the body proportions are not exactly what I need. Is it possible to increase or decrease the size of the model's cheeks, legs, etc.? Thanks in advance!

Character Creator 3 uses avatars designated as CC type characters.

You can modify these CC characters in Character Creator 3 or you can send them to 3rd party products like ZBrush to do further sculpting and then bring back in.

However, you can't open avatars built in other software unless there is a Transformer profile available. Currently the CC3 Transformer supports Daz Victoria 3/4 and Michael 3/4 plus Daz Genesis 1,2,3 or 8 characters plus avatars from Hivewire. When you "Transform" one of the supported Daz characters it is converted to a standard CC character which can then be freely customised using the available morph sliders.

Let's say I wanted to design a character from scratch in CC3. I can use a CC1 base or a CC3 base. The Appearance Editor, available at the moment in the CC1 character, is a handy tool indeed. Is there any advantage in using a CC3 character?

You mentioned that you can send CC characters to 3rd party products like ZBrush to do further sculpting and then bring back in. I assume the model's Transformer profile is kept intact, correct?

Can you also send them out to other 3rd party products, like Blender and 3d Studio Max, for mesh editing, or is it limited only to Zbrush?

If it can return to Character Creator 3, for example from 3d Studio Max, is the model's Transformer profile is kept intact? Can the body still be modified with the morph sliders?
