So let's have a go at all doing our best renders on a common scene. It will help us all see how we can improve together.

Keeping a single scene for everyone narrows the focus to concentrate on specific areas.
The first scene is Submitted by Athos (Wildstar). It is an "iClone Forum Only" scene, so please only post your renders here. :)
Download the scene here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1H_0s1f7DN4skcVQ3Lcc32mnIW151IK1u

Scene comes with basic lighting and materials. Make it as beautiful as you can. But keeping the original, or very similar diffuse material is probably a good idea. Go ahead and gussy it up with additional texture maps for the other channels though! Make it shine!

I got annoyed rather quickly because of the fact that all materials are with the same name....
Anyhow, could not last for more than 1.5h

Hello Wildstar,
Hey Icloner

First of all, we would like to thank you, Wildstar, for your confidence in us. Of course, it is and will remain your model and work! :-)

Our idea behind it is to fuel each other with sophisticated techniques, special tricks or simply experimental procedures.

As a media design company, we are extremely careful with the right to own work :-) So do not worry, it will only be used internally here ;-)

Enclosed you will find our ideas and techniques to give the output files of Iclone the highest quality.

All images were calculated to 100% in Iclone (unless it is something else in the picture) There were no subsequent work done via external image processing software.

Hope you enjoy our works & ideas and inspire other users to participate in sharing your techniques and ideas.

The reflection is created by a simple tarp with a few pixels distance to the window frame from the outside. The IES-Light is the last update the images to fine nuances more realistic and provides more mood.
Set NPR filter to 6 to get a microfine borderline on all objects barely visible but very effective in image quality.
Emissive Lights a very cool effect and in the indirect lighting in the solid component.

All other values in the settings are limited to the best possible output. Here are some of the issues of Indigo (the plugin version of Iclone) and the rendered IRay version (also plugin for Iclone).

As far as our submission ...
A relaxed, good weekly and hopefully many participants and massive brainstorming and idea sharing.

First of all, thank you so much Wildstar and Rampa for this,

And this is a quick video render without facial animation, just quick animation to see it on a nativ video render

Thanks 2IDs media:design and charly Rama!

These look great! :)
I'm so glad to see people taking this on. If it has an ongoing interest, I think we keep a monthly challenge kind of thing going. It can be different types of scenes where we all interpret a common scene like this one.
