We really need a blender tool.  Something like the "GoZ" tool but it could be "GoBlender"??

Just something I really wish we had.

Edit**i added this to the feedback tracker...

I hate to say it, Peter, but I tried that Feedback Tracker.   All I got in return was a bunch of spam.

a) I've not gotten spam as a result of my Feedback Tracker entries.  Sorry to hear you did, but I wonder why.  Very odd.

b) There are some licencing issues with tying in to Blender.  It seems odd at first, since Blender is free, but you then also have to abide by Open Source licensing agreements. such as sharing your code (chunks of it, at least), and if you want to be "legal" that is a barrier to a lot of companies.  That's basically what I recall from various conversations here an on other companies' forums.

Hi, justaviking,

If you would like to see the spam I got, go to my post about "Particle Hair Creation in CC3?"
I pasted a copy of what I saw in that thread.

@martok: I made a comment about FT spam in your other thread: https://forum.reallusion.com/FindPost422901.aspx

No thank you.  If I want some spam, I'll buy a can of SPAM at the grocery store and use it to make a sandwich.

To be crystal clear, I do believe you.  I've been around software and computer systems long enough to know strange things happen, sometimes to a very small minority of users.  So saying it's "odd" or "curious," and that it hasn't happened to me, does not equate to disbelief.

LOL!  No, I didn't mean to imply you disbelieved me. My apologies if it gave you pause.  Smile
