Is there a way to modify the way the avatar say specific words and, above all, is there a way to prolong the pauses between sentences?

CrazyTalk doesn't offer ways to modify the text to speech but you can try the free software Balabolka. This offers various options to improve your text to speech and supports all TTS formats. You can then output as an audio file for use in CrazyTalk.
