This is my first video created Using iClone 7.4 and Popcornfx particular. It is a great and powerful plugin with iClone 7.4 and above. Rendering with iClone native engine is not the same as Iray rendering engine. I tried many ways for getting a better quality than this for getting the effects of the Popcornfx lighting and others. I couldn’t find the way to separate each one or rendering. lray rendering and the real engine rendering for mixing or compositing later in Adobe AfterEffects or any other compositing softwares for getting lighting effects From Popcornfx like fair flames smoke to the Character and the props. (Sorry for my bad English language!).

this is really nice for a first project,
the extra work you put in shows
and its very rare here.

Hello aeolian,
Thanks for your nice words. I am happy you are like it.
I did the best but l am not happy with this rendering...missing a lot of nice effects in the video.

a lot of people use iclone as a tool now
and bring projects into unreal/unity for the eyecandy
its very easy to bring projects in and you dont need a expensive plugin.

you can only take iclone so far, with the particles system
its best to use a few together, use a darker background
turn on the GI and the illumination of the particles
and animate some of the sliders.

Good work, looks very nice.
I wish i had more time to use PopcornFX.
Yes, it is a great tool.

Thanks 3dtestr, the time is a big problem . You are right it’s not easy for us having more time to use all or some other functions for the software we’re using at the same time . Creating characters and props takes a lot of our time to be ready for the scene .

Looks good Smile, your pictures are very good,
I think with Iray the pictures would look even better.

Thanks for your help. I never used Unreal Engine. I hope it is be easy to use and not taking time for learning ..l will try to find out how is going ..but the price for the plugin now with this disconnect @the end of September is around $1100 Canadian dollars. It is a little to expensive. I will try the 30 days trial.. all the best!

unreal is pretty easy since your doing
all the work in iclone still

and you can just use the free plugin i linked
or simply export as fbx  from iclone.
you can even use the iclone cameras by importing them (FBX) into a sequencer camera track
so the only things you need to learn at first is lighting and post process

Thanks, l will do it. I like to learn more about Unreal Engine in the future.
