Hi,

Does the order show tax being added which would increase the total being charged?

This is a problem that affects those in the UK who purchase as 19% tax is added to total price.

If you feel there has been an error in the conversion, please contact Customer Support who will happily look into this for you and resolve any problems. Please use the Support Form below for the quickest response.

Thanks.

Why are the CAD dollars for Reallusion products quoted on the order page as approx. 10% higher than US dollars when the current US dollar has been close to par lately, and in fact is actually 2% lower at the moment? This can't be a tax amount since that would vary with each province and is not addressed during the order anyway.

I did try the customer service form but it requires a serial number, and in this case, I have not yet made the purchase I am considering.

What is the best way to get an answer on this? Thank you for any suggestions.

Hi..

All conversion rates and payments for software are handled by Element 5. You can find their Help page HERE. You should be able to find most answers on this page or you can contact them direct if the answers you are looking for are not there.

If you still wish to contact Reallusion regarding this matter then you can use the Support Form. You will only need to supply the information marked with an asterisk to submit the form.

Tax is added at the Point of Sale, which is Germany, who's current VAT rate is 19%.

UK VAT has now increased to 20%. So, we gain 1 %.:)

Where´s the problem?

Simply choose $ on the top right of the content store.
If you pay with PayPal, threy will will charge you extra for paying in $, but much less as if you´d payed directly in your own currency.

Do not forget VAT!

But this is still cheaper nevertheless. Depending on the actual $, you can normaly save about 10% :)

yeah better get used to it lol. I have no idea where the Reallusion/Element5 exchange rate comes from. And btw, Paypal doesn't like my credit card for some reason, so I can't use that.

I can purchase from the US or even the UK and get a better exchange rate. Makes it an expensive hobby aye ;)

The excessive exchange rates charged by Element 5 seem to be a continuing problem, even if you take VAT into account. I'm in the US and have ordered things in Europe via Amazon and even eBay and have never encountered such problems. Maybe Element 5 uses the wrong bank...
