Hi Reallusion,
I'm using a standard body rig (based on PSD template). I want to have sharper knees and elbows on my character. I've tried to 'insert' bones into the limbs to achieve this but the basic character rig does not seem to allow this - I think I'm right in saying you can only insert bones with a Free Bone character. Is this so?
Would there be another way to make the joints sharper?
Thanks.

If your character has single piece arms and legs they will bend in a rubber hose style. If you want more natural bends you need your arms and legs to be in two parts.
If you're using one of the Elastic Folks characters you'll see that the entire right leg image is in the layer RThigh. That will give the rubber hose look. For a sharper bend you need to split the leg into two parts - RThigh and RShank.
This quick video shows the difference.
