I add animation and it jumps back to the very first position? What am I doing wrong, I've tried everything. Video attached below.

Hi Jareddsmith,
There are two ways to fix your issue.
I have made a motion just transform position motion and add in action menu for explaining.
1.) Align motion clip, open timeline, right-click, select Align to Hip.
2.) Edit > Motion Clip > Align with previous motion.
