Hello!
I'm a big fan of the STAR WARS series and I decided to make a short series of 5 episodes, an interpretation of the idea. Han Solo and Chewbacca are my favorite characters, so I use their images in my creative teasers.
This is a project of an avid fan, to other passionate fans of the series. The movie was created entirely by me. Every time
free time, I fully dedicated myself to making it. Episode work took me more than 2 months.
Its budget is 0.00 euros. That's why I'm aware of his technical imperfection. I hope the viewers are understandable and not too critical.
Enjoy watching!

I thought it was a forum for commenting on ideas, projects, movies created with iClone. Movies are published, but no feedback, no comments. This does not make it clear whether a project is successful or not. Where are the mistakes. What needs to be corrected. I have the impression that no one is interested in works created with iClone. I read in the forum that most people are interested in Unreal and Unity in the iClone forum.

Oh, sometimes, peoples are simply busy and don't comment Smile

This was rendered in Iclone? Looks great. What settings did you use?
I thought the edgy  HDR setting worked nicely in the lighting to help give it a gritty, post-apocalyptic feel.Did you also use a LUTs setting in Iclone or do somerhing in post production?
Animation looked nice and smooth, which can be hard to accomplish with Iclone.
I felt it could have used a bit more variety in camera shots and angles in the main scene. Everything seemed to be pretty much close-up or medium close. A couple more wide shots thrown in to establish spatial relationships would have been helpful, IMO, Also, a few extreme closeups on eyes or on Chewies' crossbow point or something could have helped break it up and add visual interest.  Just my thought.

Thanks for camera recommendations. For the next films I will keep in mind. I made the color corrections in Adobe Premiere.

Nice work. Overall a very successful production.
I lost interest in Star Wars after they blew up Lukes character but I think you've done a fine job here.
Sometimes people don't comment for many reasons. I never take it personally, I know the work I did, the challenges
I faced to get it done etc. I'm not looking to acquire money and 'likes' are sort of a currency. So I don't sweat it much.
That being said, We all like to get recognition from our peers.
Grats on a nice piece of work, and I'll keep watching.

Cool pete

Cool!
Nicely done and entertaining...
Some nice shots, cool texture on the face of the guy having lunch.
Your "laser shots" are very convincing. How did you make them? Small cylinders?

A few remarks:
- at 1:30 the glow fx of the cabin lights is IMHO way too strong
- at 2:20 sadly tiny light dots coming through the Head of Han Solo
- at 3:08 the bow attached to Chewbacca behaves strange
- at 3:45 your camera clips and cuts your coke in half
- at 5:42 the box Han Solo is carrying is way too "overexposed"
And it's a pitty the fur of Chewbacca is "static", but having physics on it is probably very tricky...

BUT over all well done. Looking forward for more Wink

I really love this genre. Some really nice visual effects. The movie is very well put together. Really liked it and look forward for more.

Agree with many of the comments above. I grew up speaking Spanish. So for me watching movies with subtitles was very natural. Since I was in 4th grade I was proud to be able to go to the theater and watch movies like an adult. I hated translated movies because I felt they were an insult to the actor. Nobody wanted to hear Harrison Ford with a Mexican or Spanish accent. Many Americans are allergic to watch movies with subtitles. Its something they don’t do generally speaking. That may be “part” of the reason. Keep doing what you are doing. The people that matter will appreciate it..

I have to admit, that the storyline didn't really keep my attention
But the visuals, characters, animation, scenes, lighting etc were excellent

Keep it up

Well done , its  stylish and you made good use of iclone, one of the best have i seen on the forum of late. So many showcases on the forum look like they where made 10 years ago in iclone 2 with bland dull textures and no use of lighting effects ,yours looks like modern work . Your story okay its better than most on the forum. Only thing to improve is maybe the voice acting could be better. Other than that its a great effort well done

Nikofilm - very cool!
Also excellent job in motivating forum members to provide feedback, that was very well executed also!

Do you ever plan on having Jedi appear.
Also, did you ever consider using Unity or Unreal, what might have held you back, the export times?
By nikofilm - 5 Years Ago
Thank you TonyDPrime!

At this stage, Jedi will not be shown, because, according to Han Solo, they are just a myth. My story is based just before meeting Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
For now, I do not intend to use Unity or Unreal. Iclone is comfortable and fast enough to make movies.

Very nice project. I enjoyed the first episode.

Besides everything else, i'm also impressed by the excellent motions.
You mentioned in your video the use of Ipisoft. Would you mind giving a brief overview of your setup?

Thanks,

A great little film. I always enjoy seeing more films in the Star Wars universe.
Only thing I would say is that the lights were too bright in the beginning with the space ship. Too much bloom/HDR. You want to try to find a nice balance between the two. Of course my opinion is subjective. Smile
