there is many things you can do vfx wise with the particle system "sand paint"
especially with gamebase and low poly avatars .
melting avatars-ghosts-holograms and much more
it's probably been overlooked by most because of the goofy looking icon.
if there's any interest in a walkthru and tips i will post them next week,
but there's no substitute for rolling up your sleeves and experimenting

These are great. I agree many of these FX are overlooked, just need someone with some creative inspiration to point us in the right direction and tutorials are great for that.

I recently started looking at PopcornFx again after deciding to concentrate on iClone's native renderer, so tutorials would be most welcome!
