Hello All, I recently bought the new dance motions and when I used any motion there is a lot of flickering and break up of the moving character. I don't know if this happened due to recent up dates because I have been on a break and am now getting back to it only to discover this problem. I hope this is something that is easily fixed by adjusting some settings. I tried to attach a clip to show what I am talking about, but It's not letting me do that. I tried other animations that have worked fine and everything is playing back with a flicker and character break up. Someone please HELP!!! Mike

Hi Mike
If you mean the Evolution of Dance series, then you should not be encountering flickering or stuttering. These work perfectly for me when testing. I would advise making sure you are using the latest version of iClone and you have updated your graphics drivers. If you have not used iClone for a while you may be using outdated drivers which can cause strange issues like this.
If you do continue to have problems, please share with us your system specifications including graphics card and perhaps try to include a short YouTube video clip showing the issue. You can make it unlisted so it will not be publically viewable. Thanks.

Hello Peter, Thanks for your reply. I gathered all the info I thought you might need and did some additional testing. I don't think it is the Dance evolution software that is causing the problems, It was what alerted me to the problem because I have not animated anything in a couple of months. But I have the reallusion hub installed and kept all my software up dated. I'm thinking maybe something in one of the up dates may have changed some settings in my clone rendering or maybe lighting. My computer is an Alienware 18, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4910MQ CPU @ 2.90 GHz 2.90GHz 64 bit win 7 operating system. with 2 Geforce GTX 880M graphics cards. Iclone version 7.41.2525.1
I was able to include videos on youtube like you asked. The first one in the jeanie costume is what I saw first. This is how it looks when playing it live and after being rendered. The second video I used 3 different types of characters to see if any of them would appear differently from the others. I got an even weirder result. When I played it back live, everything looked fine. But the rendering came out as you see in the video. I have tried rendering in different settings from 1080p and down and nothing changed. I'm hoping this is something that can be easily corrected, because I can't do a thing like this!

What is your Nvidia driver version? Problems have been reported with the latest versions.
As this is the first time you encounter this, I'm thinking that it could be the driver.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. Yes this is a new experience for me. Everything was working fine and I don't recall making any setting change. My graphics cards are Nvidia Geforce GTX 880M. I checked when I posted this and they are up to date.

Hello again,
Although when I checked the drivers in the device manager I got a message stating that they were up to date. But when I checked into the Geforce Experience controler there were some up dates there and that fixed the problem for me. So thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction.
