We are very new to this. We are trying to modify the texture of a simple rope belt to look like a simple leather belt. (We cannot find a leather belt anywhere so far that would look like what John the Baptist would have worn. It needs to be very simple and rugged looking with no metal pieces or modern designs on it.) With much thanks to Kelley Toons for taking it upon himself to create the PERFECT John the Baptist for us (THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!), now all we need to do is either modify the rope belt to a leather looking texture or find a John the Baptist type of leather belt - and we are all set to start this amazing venture. How do we modify rope texture to a leathery texture?

This assumes that the belt is a separate, selectable item.
In Character Creator you can change to material to leather using the Appearance Editor. In iClone select the belt and change the texture from rope to leather, there is a leather material provided in the "Materials Lib" folder in the Media Tab.

When applying textures (from the lib or external) on objects, the texture increases in size and the object looks blurry and not naturally. How can I adjust size of texture structures to objects? Or for example when I build a blank picture frame and like to drag and drop an external jpeg picture to that, the picture increases so that only parts of it appear in the frame. How can i solve this?
