I have a character wearing a skirt and when I animate her to walk, the skirt "tears" in the back between her legs. Interestingly, it only happens when her left leg is forward, but not when her right leg is forward (the skirt just "stretches" around her as she moves in that case). Please see the picture for details. Any ideas on how to prevent this?

Hey, thanks! The video is awesome and looks like just what I need. Unfortunately I haven't been able to try it yet because for some reason CC3 thinks I don't have the Pipeline edition (even though I do).  Below is the message I get saying I need Pipeline for "advanced content creation features."  That shows when I click either of the skin weight buttons.  Also, there is a screenshot of the startup dialog showing "Pipeline," so I know I have it.  Any ideas what could be causing CC3 to think I don't have Pipeline when I do?

I think if I were you I'd uninstall both versions (you have two things, CC3 AND the Pipeline addition) via Windows uninstall.  Then let the Reallusion Hub (the newest version, just updated yesterday) install both back for you.

So, the combination of Reallusion Hub and the fact that there are two separate things solved it for me.  I had actually used the Hub to install originally but sort of forgot and had used the app's "check for updates" feature to download/install updates of CC3 to the latest version.  Apparently, when you do that, you only update the core app and not the "pipeline" extension.  So, sure enough when I opened the Hub there were two updates waiting for me, one of which was to get the Pipeline extension up to the same version as the app.  All works now.  Thanks!

Now, I just have to see if I can actually use the skin weights stuff properly and fix my original issue...

Yup, following your video I was able to fix the issue. Thanks again, it is very much appreciated!

Thanks for this Mike. After nearly a year away from cloth creation I came across this very issue myself yesterday and couldn't figure out how to fix it. Much appreciated for the video.

You're welcome -- I always try and share so we're not all reinventing the wheel.  But it's good to get feedback to keep going.
