But iClone (I used v4) allows you to work fast.  I did the lipsynching in CrazyTalk 6 to be able to correct the visemes. The final MP4 video was created in Vegas (although no real editing was needed for this).

I saw the previous message on this forum mentioning the comp and it's good to see more iClonians 'flying the flag' for RL wares.:cool:

I started late, so it was only a straight submission.  And I agree, it's is good to show the Max and Maya folks our work...

I think it's a different world; there is a preconceived notion of what animation should look like... There were many entries that looked very similar to me, using almost the same rigs, as if they were part of a class project.  There were also a number that were not very well executed and very crude in the transition between shots, for example.  But they felt within the preconceived notion and were considered acceptable.

I don't think there were many entries that were made with machinima-like programs such as iClone, so it's probably much too alien for the viewers.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the challenge and I may try again in the future, just for fun...
