Hi,
Been playing with the Curve Editor for the first time and I was wondering where the Easy In and Easy Out are? They are bog standard terms in most keyframe editing systems that I have ever used, but for some reason, I cannot find them in the Curve Editor.

Select a Keyframe, or group of Keyframes, with the mouse. Right and select one of the options from the panel that opens.

Okay. But still not seeing easy in or easy out. Are they called something different? If so, why rename them when the standard is this?

Any ideas my friend?

There is one curve the accelarates at the beginning and decelerates at the end. That's would be the equivalent. I believe there's a curve called Smooth where this is adjustable.

EDIT: Note that these are separate presets. They are not in the Curve Editor itself. I'm away from iClone but I think there are presets for transitions in the CU.

So after reading backwards and forwards, and doing various google searches, and watching this video:

It seems as though easy-in and easy-out were not included as a clickable option, but in the video (at the 2.27 mark) there is an indication that you can create this effect yourself using the curves and handles, which of course is true, but..... You know, most software vendors seem to think that it's worth giving the option of Easy-in/out as a single button press, so not sure why RL don't follow this convention.

Maybe they will in future updates?

So what is wrong with using the provided transition curve presets:

http://manual.reallusion.com/iClone_7/ENU/Pro/Default.htm#iClone_7/Pro_7.0/09_Animation_Timeline_Editing/Transition_Methods_in_Tracks.htm.

They give you more options than what was provided in the past.

EDIT: They reason these are outside the curve editor is beacuse not everyone has the curve editor.

They are actually there. Fast and Slow buttons. Also right mouse click on the key and select desired from Tangents. Also select a key then Ctrl+6 or Ctrl+7.
However, they are not as distinct as Accelerate and Decelerate in Transition Curve Presets.
Though you can reshape the curve manually after selecting Fast/Slow, I wish they match their analog in Curve Presets by default.
