Miranda states that accumulated purchases of over $299 during October, so you will be eligible. And, it will also count towards your Elite Status purchases.
About Elite Status (according to RL):
Any purchases made from September 1st to November 30th, 2018 (UTC time) with an accumulated order value of over US$699, will qualify as our 2019 Content Store Elite Member. In addition, any purchases with an accumulative order value over US$299 in the month October will receive an Extra Bonus content pack with a total value of US$99.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I ordered more then 700$ during that time period but I guess I placed several orders and it seems that doesnt qualify for an elite membership which would be quite frustrating.

I just figured it out...so to become an elite member you have to purchase stuff for 699$ from the content store only. I thought it involved the software store as well. In the content store I "only" shopped for 550$. So I guess I have to buy this pack as well :D

looks pretty good Miranda.. but sadly, the pickings in the store are getting slim. and I just can't see spending $299 right now.
so like.. what is the projected release, and price for this pack? $99, $149, or $299. if I'm following the trends correctly.. it's not going to be cheap :w00t:
so like.. it would be nice to know.

Spending over $299 from Content Store will receive this pack for free, so purchasing this pack won't be your option if you want to reach the goal of $299 (or $699) in October.

Yes, it accounts the sum of accumulated orders made in October, so several orders are fine.

nice way to evade my question Miranda. although there is no way to purchase the pack because it's not released yet.. LOL. but your response does offer up
more questions that I'm now certain you will evade as well. so i'll skip those and ask my question again.
if I don't find enough to purchase to get the pack for free. how much will you think the price will be for the pack? if you don't know, say so.
and when will the expected release be? and finally... are these just the characters? or do they come with some sort of cloth?

You might want to check again -- I think that link is for the entire Elite period promotion (Sept-Nov for more than $699). The $299 is only for purchase made during October. If your $299.98 was all purchased during October, than you are all good...

I need to correct the launch date.
We've brought your discussion to our Sales Team, and we found that launching this pack "earlier" before $299 campaign ends may make users confused.
It's highly possible that users purchased this pack, then found out they got the same pack as gift.
With this concern, the launch date will be postponed to next Monday.

The hair styles shown in the promotional images are not all from Reallusion packs. Some are from Daz 3D where you can find 100's of different styles which can be easily imported into CC3 Pipeline.

so like how do you know if you accumulated the 299 in october? do you get notified? or do you have to wait till the entire promotion is over at the end of the month?
or is the whole just void if i don't get to the 700 mark? so like it would be nice to know these things before i make a decision on a purchase.

Hi...
The default models that come with CC3 are also fine tuned for facial animation. The reference for the Elite Characters is just to show that extra care has been taken to ensure that these new character faces will animate just as well as the default characters that come with CC3.
Currently CC3 Base characters are not compatible with the Appearance Editor and that includes the Elite Characters unfortunately. Appearance Editor support for CC3 Base characters is coming in a future update.

The skin looks gread, but, becaulse we don't have appearance editor anymore, I had to use photoshop to ad makeup and ajust skintone.
What I notest is that the light spots on the skin will stand out is you make the skin darker.
So you get white stanes, that is something RL sould think of in the future

IF you start with the default project and apply Mei, you will get the occurring problem teeth poking through skin...
START with one of the new projects; Base_RTL or Base_IBL and apply Mei, the problem won't occur!

This is true of a lot of morphs. For example, I created a Daz morph that works fine if you apply it to those new Elite characters BUT if I apply it to a base CC3 that has everything reset then the teeth poke through. There's a weird kind of hierarchy that only allows you to proceed in certain directions (IOW, morphs, no matter HOW they are created, are NOT universal). So sometimes you just have to experiment.

This issue will occur if you apply an avatar preset to a character that already has morphs applied.
The solution is to apply the Avatar Preset to a reset RTL Base or you can load the Mei character itself rather than the Preset. The character is stored under Project > Character

The elite characters pack is awesome, but I hope this isn't reallusion solution to the lack of appearance editor for CC3 characters and the elite pack is the only way we can get high res 2k and 4k textures for characters of different ethnicity
cause I got the essential pack for cc3 not to long ago, thinking it would be like the elite pack based on the marketing videos I saw abut CC3 quad mesh and high texture hands and feet all that stuff only to be disappointed

I shake my head at the Elite member promo for October only.. what happens if you purchased the same or double or triple in 2018 period?
Does this make the customer not worthy of Elite status just because they didn't purchase in October? Maybe I shouldn't invest in anything else until a certain date arrives just to be special.. sounds kinda nuts hey?
I really dislike the wording of these promos lately.. The Scanned character learning pack title is also misleading because it doesn't give you the tutorial to make characters from photo scanning, according to support that's coming later.

As I have said previously the elite characters pack is awesome, "even though I am yet to try it"
Unfortunately I can't afford the entire pack now, and am aware that reallusion has being so kind to cut the price by 34% .
I was hoping the content of the elite pack could be sold just the way the professional pack was sold by either buying the entire pack
or finding a particular content in the pack separately and buying it in the online store..... or by downloading trial of the pack and activate each content
as one becomes more financially buoyant....my own two kobo(cents)
