Hi everyone, I was just baconing (yes, bacon is now a verb, get used to it) around the net and realized that the bullet physics engine is opensource. So I was wondering what people thought about it, if anyone has used it in anything (Blender, maya).

Also toiClone devs: would it be possible to put it in like... version 5? (if not a sooner one)

I don't konw if NVIDIA PhysX is open or can be openly used. I kow the SDK is out there though.

You don't need an NVIDIA card to use the engine though (although it helps.)

Here are some links about bullet physics engine... I think there's another one called ODE or something.

Soooo what's up?

Sounds interesting. Various 3D animation programs use it or are in the process of using it from what I read.  It would give iClone a big boost.

EDIT: hey, Dreamcube, don't be discouraged, keep the ideas coming!  BTW, is there a feature request for this?

Hm is there a place to leave feature request specifically?

That may sound like a noob question, but just wondering.

You can not make too many suggestions. The development team look at every wishful feature and try to implement them if at all possible in future updates and versions.

Keep em coming. ;)

Cool if I think of something more, I will.
