Hi, I'm wondering if the current version of CrazyTalk Animator Pro can do everything the current version of CrazyTalk Pro can (plus more)?

It's a bit unclear to me whether or not one needs just CrazyTalk Animator Pro, or both of these packages (CrazyTalk Pro for face/lipsync and CrazyTalk Animator Pro for body).

Does CrazyTalk Animator Pro have all the same 2D and 3D facial animation capabilities as CrazyTalk Pro? Or just a more limited subset of features in terms of facial animation/lipsync?

Thanks in advance.

Hi...

CrazyTalk 8 and Crazytalk Animator 3 are both entirely standalone products. You do not need one to be able to use the other.

Here are some of the main differences:

CrazyTalk 8 only animates heads, CrazyTalk Animator 3 allows for heads and full body characters.
CrazyTalk 8 can create 2D and 3D heads from photos, Crazytalk Animator can only create 2D heads from photos. Both have automatic lip-sync generation.
CrazyTalk 8 can create auto motion and auto reactive motion for characters, CrazyTalk Animator 3 doesn't. Facial animation has to be created manually using puppeteering or face key editing.
CrazyTalk 8 only supports a single talking head and doesn't allow props to be added, CrazyTalk Animator 3 can build complete scenes with multiple characters and props.
Generally Crazytalk 8 is the easiest to learn of the two products and is ideal for beginners.

I hope this helps a little.
