When I try to load an actor I get the following error message: "please pick an actor and confirm the character generation before loading the file." I have the latest CH3 updates. Any ideas on how to fix this?

This error message normally occurs when you try to load a head or body part without a complete character being present first.
So try first loading a complete character such as Actor > Character > 1_G3 Human > Elastic Folks_Female_01_F. Does this character load successfully?

Yes, your recommendation worked!! Now, what if I want to take the body of Mr. Rosenberg and add my head to his body?

Hi John
You can create a custom morph (photo) based head and apply it to any character. I would advise taking a look at the two tutorials below which show creating custom heads under different scenarios. Both tutorials also show creating a body but you can just create a head on its own if you wish. Once you have created your head you can then save it for later use under Custom > Head > Head in Composer mode.
