Would anyone know whether the Essential Morphs & Skin as well as the Essential Clothing & Fabric packs are available as 'stand-alone' installations (like with iClone), or can they only be downloaded via an 'Install.RLD'?
The reason I ask is that I'm currently downloading one of these via the .RLD (the Morphs/Skin) - but once I've played around and tested a bit, I'll be rolling back my PC to an earlier 'backup' version. This being the case, do I have to repeat the same (rather massive) download all over again for both these packs?
I did notice that the 'default location' for the Morphs/Skin is at: C:/Users/Public/Documents/Reallusion/Template/Character Creator 3 Template/ Presumedly it would be sort of similar for the Clothing & Fabric pack.
However, I thought I noticed files being written to 'Windows' as well (I could be wrong) - in which case I imagine it wouldn't be enough to simply copy the above Documents directory, since the Windows components would not be in place once I do the roll back.
Any thoughts??? Thanks in advance ... :)

After a pack is installed using the Install.RLD you are asked if you wish to save a copy of the installed paths in a text file. I've always found that it is best to then copy the newly installed content folders to a safe place, and if needed I can then just copy them back to their original location in the case of having to do a complete reinstall - this is much quicker than going through the RL miserable download process again. This method also has the advantage that your purchased content is then registered on the DRM side and if it needs to be copied to a new installation then it will function instantly.

Gerry ... Yes, I did (fortunately), choose to save the .txt file (RLContentInstallLog_) that lists all the 'install locations' .... So l'll copy the Morphs etc out from those locations to another drive for later.
I *may* have been imagining that 'Windows files' were being 'created'. I was watching via 'Space Sniffer' while "Morphs & Skins" was installing - to see where things were being installed to. I saw some 'chatter' in the windows sectors - but that may've been due to other reasons I guess ....
Hopefully after re-installing the 'Macrium Reflect' backup file, then pasting (a copy of) the Morphs/Skins back to their 'default' locstion - all will be sweet ... Thanks Gerry ... :)
