Live Face for Crazytalk

I have noticed many exciting developments for other products in your lineup that allow facial capture data taken from the iPhone X (or newly released iPhone XS) via Live Face to be used in animation, but surprisingly it does not seem to be applicable to Crazytalk 8.  This seems crazy to me (no pun intended) as such a development seems tailor made for Crazytalk 8 as that is its whole purpose, to create talking heads.  Are there any plans to incorporate facial capture into the Crazytalk 8 software, or perhaps Crazytalk 9?  I would like to continue to use Crazytalk, but if it isn't coming then regrettably I'll go elsewhere as many developers seem to be jumping on this, including free options such as Blender 3D which has fairly robust character creation plug-ins and just requires a little time learning a new workspace and environment.

Thanks for your time, I hope to hear back from you soon!

Hi Jon

Unfortunately there a no plans for any further updates to Crazytalk 8. However facial mocap may come in a future version but no decision has been made about this yet.

For now you can use Crazytalk Animator 3 for 2D facial mocap or iClone for 3D facial mocap. Both titles can work with the iPhone X using Live Face.

So there is no Crazy Talk 7 or 8 for free trial/purchase anymore.  I saw a demonstration and it looked easy to use.  All I want is to create talking photos.  Can you recommend another product?

Hi...

For talking photos like CrazyTalk 7/8 you can use Cartoon Animator 4. As well as being a full featured 2D animation studio, it incorporates the same photo to talking head technology used in CrazyTalk, and will allow you to do even more, like having more than one character on screen at once (CrazyTalk was limited to one). In addition you can add props, video and image backgrounds etc.

If you are interested, please check out the Cartoon Animator 4 product page below. A trial version is also available.

Is there anyway I can still purchase Crazytalk 8? Crazytalk is so much easier to use for me, as an armature.
Yes, Cartoon Animator is easy to use too. However, I don't have the stylized characters ready to use in CA. I have to buy morphs, buy Character Creator to create a stylized character and then drag in to Cartoon Animator. I do not understand why Reallusion discontinued Crazytalk.

What I like about Crazytalk was the demonstration I saw online made it look very simple.  Is there a tutorial on  your website that can explain how to create moving mouths on photos, just like Crazytalk did?

Thanks.

Please contact Customer Support using the link below. As CrazyTalk has only just been discontinued they may be able to help you purchase a copy.

Thanks.
Do you know whether I could use the ready-made stylised avatars (see screenshot) in Cartoon Animator? I saw the website is selling the stylised avatars for CrazyTalk only. If I can't use them directly in Cartoon Animator, does that mean I have to purchase their morphs first, then purchase Character Creator to build them, and import them to Cartoon Animator?

2nd question, can I use CrazyTalk (lip-sync function) for live streaming?
