How to purge the soundtrack ?

Hello Everybody,

I made a scene with dialogs and in order to do this I've imported several pre-recorded voices (.mp3 and .wav)  in "Facial Animation" ... (and that works fine, with lips sync :D)

After the first export of my projet as AVI video, for testing,  I want to change some dialog, so I've re-imported new .WAV and I've replace some older by new ... and it seems to be ok when I preview the projet in iClone, I can hear only the new voices and those older ones I've kept.

But ...

When I export again the iClone projet in AVI file the older voices (that I've deleted for replace by new ones) are still there.

How to purge the soundtrack ?

Thanks,

Gérard.

Is there any answer to this question?
The only solution I've found at this time is to import my video into an editing software, then replace voices on a new soundtrack and kill the original soundtrack generated by iClone.

It sounds like you have overlapping voice tracks. If you select the FACE line in the Time line then you can move the speech patterns aside and see what is underneath.

You also have the option of saving your characters as a Custom Character; Collect their Motions and save them across the Time line; This would include the Facial Motions (Speech/Dialogue) which can be saved as Custom Facial *.iTalk files:

Re-introduce The Motions and Facial Dialogue into the scene after you have removed all animation.

Remember to have a source for your dialogue and motions before "Removing All Animations" because, once you do that, all the motions and facial motions (Speech) will be removed.

Thanks Cricky for your answer.

The first thing I've done is looking for residual audio events ... of course.    But there aren't anything in the timeline.   And as I said in my first post when I play this project in iClone all seems to be OK, the problem occurs only when I export it in AVI.  It's like if the oldest audio events were not be deleted. (and still remain in the .iProject)

I've well read your advice but my projet is a bit too complicated too change it now (camera's moves, props moves, characters moves, and so on) and all are synchronized.

The only thing I wish is to clean up the soundtrack from the older events.

Are there audio components in your Sound Effects or Music tracks? Is this what you may be hearing as residual sounds?

I've well investigate all the tracks and I've found anything, it's like if some ghost live in my .iProject for ever :alien:

Send the Project to Reallusion Support, let them investigate the issue. I have had that happen in the past, but not recently.

Hi gerard,
You have an incredible talent finding weird bugs . :p.
By the way, the reset function on the preview camera is now fixed in the new patch thanks to you. :)

Cheers,
