I discovered a limitation in iClone yesterday, while making my latest video English lesson. I wanted to use iClone to introduce some videos into my project, but iClone interrupted and said that I had reached the limit of 4 videos. I had a choice of making around 8 separate projects, 4 videos to a project, or trying something else. I opted for the latter and used After Effects to introduce the videos after rendering the narrator in iClone. It worked okay, but I would have liked to have been able to put the videos on animated screens in iClone instead.
Any idea why there is a 4 video limit on iClone?

I've used more than 4 videos -- are you sure it isn't a memory limitation with your GPU?
And how and what are you using? (I use Popvideo, on billboards). I haven't tested this in a while (not since about 7.1) but I can test again to be sure.

Can't confirm this... Quick test with 17 videos (mp4) as plane or billboard:
Win 10, gtx 1070

Then it must be to do with the 3D VFX Motion Montage Vol 2 action panel, Blinds-Whole, that I was using, rather than iClone in general. I will try using different action panels for the next video and see what happens. Thanks for your help, and your positive comments.

Well, the panel you mention only has 4 (3+1 side) slots to insert a video I just checked having 3 Panels (Blinds Whole) in my scene, each of them can carry 3 Videos... So, that were 9...
