Hi,
I noticed that iClone does very well with Nvidia cards but had an interesting question. Is it better to get an Nvidia card with only 8gb ram - 1080, or is it better to get an Amd card that has 16gb (double the) ram?
Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance

I actually have the Nvidia 1080 on order.
I checked the bench marks from various sites, and it appeared in most cases the NVidia cards were getting the best performance. Even when the AMD cards way out priced them. Ram is always good, but I think once you have sufficient ram for the job, then you have sufficient ram.

Hope this helps

Both AMD and Nvidia work with iClone, more RAM is always better, but it seems that iClone, at least from my tests, can also use the system RAM if not enough on the card, although it slows things down considerably, a 16GB Vega FE is roughly the same price as a 11GB 1080TI on Newegg, so to me it comes down to the amount of RAM since both cards are fast!
