I thought my issue that kept me from being able to use iC7 was fixed with the latest update. When I opened iC7, I'd load one of the built-in avatars and jump into Edit Motion Layer. I'd move bones around for maybe two minutes, sometimes less, before the program crashed. Every time, every avatar. I thought seting my real-time preferences to lowest settings and updating my graphics card driver would help, but it didn't. It seems to work okay now after the recent update, but I still can't use the program much because of another issue.
I was just playing with the creepy cat LiveProp; adding a Perform motion and hit Space to play it. My screen weird-froze. Like my cursor could still sort of move, but only in a limited small area. used keyboard commands to restart my PC and try again. But instead of trying to play the animation, I played with multi-duplicate. Moving around 12 creepy cats was working fine for between 5-10 minutes before it weird-froze again. Repeat, same result.
I am on a Dell XPS 8700 desktop, Win7 Ultimate 64-bit, 32 GB RAM, 4 GB VRAM, 823 GB HDD, Intel Core i7-4790, nVidia GeForce GTX 980 driver 23.21.13.91, DirectX 11.1
I use many other 3D programs and none give me this kind of issue..

My prediction is this is a Win 7 problem -- a lot of folks have found resolution to their issues upgrading to at least 8 (although at this point there's no reason not to be using Win 10).
No real easy way to test, though (other than I doubt anyone can duplicate this issue without Win 7).

Might be a Long shot, have you tried deleting all the temp files? When crashes occur iclone does not delete the temp files correctly
