Hello, I was wondering if somebody could tell me where I can find a copy of Drawplus for Mac?

I don't think DrawPlus was ever available for a Mac.
They now offer Affinity Designer for the Mac but it does not have SWF export abilities, last I checked, so it was not a true "replacement" for DrawPlus at least for my needs for using it with CrazyTalk Animator.

@jlittle it would probably be more accurate to describe Affinity Designer as the successor to DrawPlus, rather than a replacement. :)
@cordonbert given the low cost of a new Windows licence for DrawPlus (£20), perhaps you would consider using a Windows emulator solution? There are a variety of choices available ranging from free to about £100.

Thank you garylearntech, I do have the crossover emulator, I wonder if anybody has any experience with it and if it will be stable enough to use properly.

cordonbert: I'm afraid I can't comment on that - it's years since the last time I ran Windows under emulation on a Mac. If you don't get any useful feedback from colleagues here on the Reallusion forums, remember that CodeWeavers have their own CrossOver Support forums - that might be a more productive hunting ground for your query? Good luck!

Hello
if you go down the drawplus route, make sure you get drawplus 6 as 8 does not work with creating G2 characters! A lesson I learned the hard way!!!

DrawPlus 8 does work as long as you don't update it to the last version V14.0.1.21
I use V14.0.0.9 and it works fine for me with CTA.

I've got to say affinity designer is pretty good! I do all my character creation in designer then transfer via Eps file to drawplus for the G2 template!
I stand corrected regarding drawplus x8, thanks Jeff.

I too like Affinity Designer (and also Affinity Photo for bit-mapped work) though I don't use either heavily.
If you're at all curious, they do have a free trial version you can download. I think it operates unrestricted for … 10 days? The link for the trial is at the bottom of the main product page. Possibly also worth pointing out is that they sometimes put on a promotion and drop the price a little; these promos get featured on their social media sites. If you're not in a rush to buy Designer (or any of their other products) and can demonstrate patience, you might be able to pick it up for a bit less than the normal purchase price.
