Hmmm -- those wings aren't included?  (They shouldn't be shown if they aren't).

REALLY need PopcornFX now, of course (and I assume we'll have it this week -- the timeline said Thursday if you folks are still on schedule).

The fact that some items are not included in the pack is mentioned in the product description page.

It's in the small print at the very bottom of the page - that's the bit that people with glasses never get to see. SmileHeheTongueLaugh

Looking at the promotions... sure doesn't calculate.

We can buy the Scorcerer and Sorceress packs with some clothes.

Then we can buy the COMPLETE wardrobe set for both additional.

I suspect this means those of us who don't want the RL Characters can make our own CC characters and clothe them with the complete wardrobe set.

What if we don't create CC characters just as RL.? "no problems you say".    Hmmmmm

Or does this mean if we have the two character packs it would be wise to buy the complete wardrobe set to eliminate any possibilities of problems?

Probably be a good idea for RL to make a good video explaining precisely details of working with the packs and set.

I totally agree this seems to be bad form on RLs part. No option to buy wings sperate too Sad

Looking at all three product pages - Sorcerer, Sorceress and the Wizard Combo pack there is no mention anywhere that characters are included in the packs. The single Male/Female packs cost $99.00 each, while the combo costs $149.00 and has all of the content from the 2 single packs - and it includes a few Bonus assets.

It would appear that, like it or not, a user will have to create their own characters to use the clothing with. w00t

Once again a masterpiece of RL Marketing.

Yeah, as a very general rule I don't mind if they show things that aren't provided in the pack IF THEY AREN'T ESSENTIAL TO THE CHARACTER AND/OR NOT PART OF THE OVERALL "LOOK".  IOW, they can show some hair, or perhaps a character in a setting that isn't part of a pack, but if they are selling items designed to make a character a fantasy figure, don't show f**king wings on her.  That's just VERY bad form, particularly, as you point out, if they aren't an option to buy separately (perhaps they are in the marketplace somewhere, but I couldn't find them).

Or, for example, you wouldn't show beards on characters that aren't included for a "hair" pack, or extra props that aren't included in a prop pack -- again, doesn't matter what the fine print is or what the details say, you just don't include things in a demo video that are part and parcel of what you are selling.

That said, I bought the pack because I'm a software whore (and I actually think the "male" clothing will have a lot more possibilities on female figures) but it's not a Good Thing for RL to continue this deception.  I hope at least Miranda can provide feedback to the developer (or whoever made that video) that in the future it's not a good idea to lie about your products.

My favorite demon wings were a freebie for iClone 1.5, and you can still download them.

Also Angel wings.

There are lots of wing options available in the Markketplace, and the Content Store

Hi everyone,

Wings we used in the commercialization images are from the old packages.
We will add this information on the webpage, and also make the single item available to be purchased in the Marketplace. (Date: TBC)

Please be noted that we never think about cheating users. From the "Gallery" and "Pack Includes" section, you will know clearly about what it contains.
If there is anything could make things clear, welcome to let us know. Smile

Hi Miranda

Thank you for making it clearer on whats included in the pack! I think it's better to include a list of all the items that are not included in any pack you sell with an option to buy the unincluded items separately.  In my opinion, you should never use items in a product promo video that is not available in the pack or at least an option to buy as an extra.

Merry Christmas to all you guys at RL and thank you for an amazing year!!! Looking forward / excited to see what you guys bring to the table in 2018 CoolBigGrin

Best

Ian

"I suspect this means those of us who don't want the RL Characters can make our own CC characters"
Forgive my ignorance, but I don't think I get the lingo yet...I understand a CC character, but what is the difference with an RL character?
Thanks.

That  just means there are a bunch of pre-assembled characters for your library. You can make your own, mixing and matching the clothing from any other pack as well.

Every big clothing pack has come with a bonus that includes a library of pre-assembled characters. The bonus is always an additional download.
