Another theme of CC outfits is coming!
The developer ABeconis referred to the history of Ancient Rome, took the essence parts and did some revisions, so that the clothes and accessories can be mixed and matched with others well.
Here is the design idea proposed by him.
In the first pack of Gladiators, users will be able to team up a Retiarius, Secutor, Provocator and Scissor.
Accessories like Sica, Trident, Fishnet and Pamula are included in this pack as well.
*The pixelated characters and accessories will be available in the second pack.

The developer ABeconis is so good at sculpturing the details of metal, wood and leather objects.

Wow! This is impressive work. I’ll be buying for sure. The two feathers do make the deadly gladiator look a little bit like a cute fluffy bunny though  but that’s just me. My mind isn’t a normal one!

That's encouraging! I will forward your words to the developer. It means a lot when knowing their artworks are (will be) really used in someone's projects!

I think the feathers are a bit silly as well, Miranda, but they also seem very problematic to me (unless the physics are VERY good they aren't going to look right at all in any scene, as even the slightest breeze ought to disturb them, and will be a dead giveaway that things aren't correct). I would stay away from feathers in 3D as much as possible.

What they should be is a so-called "plume", defined as (among others): a feather, a tuft of feathers, or some substitute, worn as an ornament, as on a hat, helmet, etc.
I think that usually it wouldn't be a single feather for a helmet It looks actually more convincing in the design drawing that Miranda posted.

This will be one of the few (only?) RL content packs I don't buy, but perhaps I could suggest (given the ENORMOUS popularity right now of Wonder Woman) to have more Amazon type themed clothing. It would cover both fantasy and action, and be right in the wheelhouse for most fanboys.
I suspect the dev who did this work could repurpose a lot of his stuff to work with that. Just a thought.

It is out now! That's the first cloth pack I bought in a while. Some really nice multi-purpose items in there - I think some of my character morphs will love them . Will play around with it and try to share some additional showcase asap. Thumbs up to the dev.

That's true. The price is hot . I couldn't resist to start working with it and I already have a lot of fun. Great bases for all kinds of Fantasy stuff!

That's cool Val. IMO it's definitely a Must-Have. I hope you all don't mind if I post another promo as it's too much fun to equip my CC morphs with these new assets.

I don't have any connection to the developer or doing it as a commissioned work - it's just for fun. I used some additional items in this promo and also tweaked some textures. The characters are not included in the cloth pack.

TM - Here's 2 Quickies with 2 of my original avatars "Mortizia" & Hilt" dressed in the Gladiatorial garb. (working out a few cloth conforming issues involving my Hilt character) Working on a scene - that curve editor webinar this evening will complete the smooth fighting animations for the ancient fighting look! I'm sure that between this pack, the assassin's pack and the wizards pack you will be able to make some forms of Amazons (Warrior Women)
This is only the Gladiator Stuff, Plus ABeconis's weapons. They look like Warrior Women to me.

We're missing some real critical pieces for the "Amazon" look. In particular if you look at this image:
I'm no expert on either women's clothing or this kind of stuff, but the "off the shoulders covering the breasts" look is pretty typical of these types, and we don't have equivalent male counterparts to it because, ahem, men don't have what is needed to hold it up (women have those convenient -- at least in this case -- "racks").
Nothing that is upcoming in his Gladiator pack seems to be for women either, so as I said, he's missing a huge opportunity.

I thought I’d jump in and say hi. I’m so happy to finally be able to release this first pack and see all the cool things created with it. Hope everyone will like this first part.
Feathers - I had my doubts about the feathers but I’d rather include something that can be easily hidden by simple opacity slider than not include it at all.
Wonder woman/amazon - I really like this theme and maybe we’ll see something in the future
