Hello, I need 5 words and 1 shouts in a pretty heigh pitched female voice recorded for my project.
The quality need to be proffesional and serious. The words and the shout is

"Going to crush another party, love?" "Ha!"

They can be heard here:
https://youtu.be/ZyBUMabtslI?t=2m38s from 02:38 to 02:40

The thing is: I dont know if this is legal to do, because I have not been able to get permission to use the voice actor voice I wanted in my Tracer animation practice project, her agency said she couldnt help me with that. The words are already recorded, so I dont know if it is legal to hire someone else to record them again. I also have no experience in the voice actor industry myself so a little help could be needed.

Well, it's certainly legal to record those words -- no one can copyright a phrase like that (or if you could it would be SO much work and effort it wouldn't be worth the trouble -- perhaps a slogan but not a sentence like that).

I can't really help you -- all my female vocal talent is much older and it would be hard for them to do such a high pitched voice -- but my advice is to seek out a local community theater group.  Nearly every town, village, city has one (and many have two or three) and the good news for us guys is the ratio of women to men is something like 10 to 1 (so a great place for you single men to meet someone).  They all love to act for free, and recording a few sentences (or even many) is trivial.  Take your portable recording device with you to their tryouts (most have tryouts three or four times a year) and you can make friends with a rich trove of talent that can serve you well for years (before I moved I had literally dozens of voices available -- I now have only a handful but, as I said, they are all much older -- hmmm, I do have a granddaughter of a friend who might work for you.  If you don't find any other takers and can't find the talent yourself let me know, as I know she's into Anime and her voice *might* work for you).

The text is yours, you can do whatever you like with it, the voiceiver is not so much, usually for stuff that gets to broadcast you can use her recording in antway you like but you only have permission to broadcast for six months or so and you have to pay royalties, if it is got private use you only pay the actor their fee and thats it. Check your local laws, and even talk to your actors about usage it is better to ask permission than getting sued

I think it should be "crash another party"...

Yes, sounds like "Crash". Raxel_67, youre right that why I ask before I do things. If I remake things which Im often do I try to outsource the original copyright owner and ask him/her/they before I begin.

Great post...

Did some Googling and found this article on Youtube's take on fair use. I was actually surprised at how much of Disney's work rebelliouspixels was able to use under fair use considering how Disney is notorious for going after copyright infringement.

Stating the obvious.. I'm not an attorney just a struggling artist trying to make sense of it all.
