Character Creator 2 freezes on startup during "Loading Default Project"

I purchased and installed Character Creator 2 yesterday and it was working fine. Today I installed The Stylized Starter Pack and the CC Essential Complete Bundle and now Character Creator 2 won't run. It freezes during the startup splash screen at the "Loading Default Project" stage. The Status of the Character Creator Task in Task Manager goes to "Suspended" at that point also. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but it hasn't fixed the problem. Is it possible the Default Project has become corrupted somehow? I did also install a new GTX 1080ti graphics card but iClone is running fine with it. Any ideas how to fix this please?

Delete Windows temporary files, iclone and cc write stuff in the temporary files folder (named tmp if i recall correctly) and sometimes info stays there that crashes iclone or cc, delete them and relaunch cc, hope this helps

I did that and even reinstalled the program to no avail. Any other suggestion?
