Hi alI created a Video containing of 5000 frames (200MB) and I cannot render it successfully. The mp4 does not open and is only 60MB large. Is the file too large? Any idea?

Thanks and cheers
Martin.

If it crashes during rendering the mp4 file is basically garbage, it won't open. if you could give us more info about the project and your computer adn what is happening during the render process might help us narrow down a solution, meanwhile update your gpu drivers, delete the the temporary files inside the tmp folder (where windows stores temp files), try rendering again, if it fails, try rendering with another codec or render an image sequence, this might help us pinpoint where the problem could be

My latest 7.02 is suddenly crashing (perhaps isolated to current project file) during simulation and rendering with PNG, AVI, MPG, preview and final renders.  Random locations for failed simulations and renders.  Is there an .ini file that needs filling out for env variables.  Anyone else having this issue.  With the released 7.0 version (buggy) was able to render in any codec with more than 5k frames no problem.  Trouble ticket submitted but think it might be an disconnect between Nvidia controller and iClone phy engine?

Try updating your video drivers

Hi all
thanks a lot for your Replys and ideas. I finally succeeded, by clicking "no" when asked, if I want to open the Video after Rendering. And this is my actual Workaround ...

Cheers

Its usually better to bake all physx animations 1st before final render.
