Finally finally! Conforming Hair Series - Volume 1 are available NOW!!! (Dec. 4th)

Hi everyone!
We knew you have been waiting for new hairstyles for a long long while.
Finally, there will be two hair packs coming before the year end!
There is wide range of stories you are creating, and the era, age, race, ... are different, which caused some debates when we were planning the hair packs.
"How could we satisfy most people's need in a short time?"
Well, I don't know if we found the right answer.
At least there will be a well-mannered gentleman showing in your projects soon!
The first pack contains 5 hairstyles. Guess what the rest of 4 hairstyles will be... ??

This looks great, Miranda, and will be a staple for many of the men we create. Here's hoping we get at least one or two more men's styles that are more "universal" than some of the ones we've gotten so far.
I'm sure I can speak for quite a few of us in saying we can't get enough hair (even if that sounds odd).

I wouldn't be too sure about a disappointment. You should take a walk through the main city shopping area where I live - the place is full of surprises.

haha I thought your disappointment will come from applying this hairstyle on men may not look good!

1. The launch date is scheduled at the end of this month. If I get a news about schedule change from Team, I will update it to you immediately.
2. Five hairstyles in a pack, but a single item is also available for purchasing
3. I don't have this information yet. Shall not over USD 5 per hair.

I'm pretty new to iClone so forgive me if this is a dumb question. I'm using iClone and 3dXchange pipeline to animate Daz Characters so my characters in iclone are in the "non-standard talking character" format. Can I use the Conforming Hair on these types of character in iClone? I see that the hair packs are currently on sale but would like to know if they will work in my pipeline

Load your character in iClone and then Drag & Drop one of the Hair styles directly on to the character from Windows Explorer. The other method is to place the Hair on a CC character, send this to iClone, select the Hair and save it as such to a custom folder under Actor>Custom>Part>CC Hair.

My mistake on this. It does not work on Non-Standard characters.

Will it work with CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline?
Since CrazyTalk 8 doesn't support PBR, so users are unable to apply those hairs on the CT8 avatar directly. Instead, the process will be
- Put on the hair on character in CC 2 (PBR texture)
- Export an iAvatar with CC 1.5 / IC 6.5 compatible (Traditional texture)
- Open the iAvatar from CC 1.5
- Select the hair, and export it as iHair by File > Export > Selected Object
- Apply this iHair on CT8 avatar

Not all CT8 users owned I-Clone or CC.
So it is a waste that CT8 users need is not catered for.
