Installing iClone 7 alongside iClone 6
Is it a good idea to do this or not?
What do I do about the template / purchased assets folder? Keep the same one for both or different for each.  My assets are currently DRMed against my iClone 6 serial, so presumably they won't work in 7 unless activated against that serial.  Does that then override and nullify the Iclone 6 serial and render watermarks in version 6?
For the activation process does iClone 7 have to be run as administrator, does it rewrite / re-download or modify the purchased assets?
What has everyone else done one set of assets or two? Or just moved on and left iClone 6 in the dust or installed on another computer?

You can have multiple versions with no problems (all except you can't open up projects in newer versions in your older versions).

Assets aren't DRMed.

I always keep at least two versions of iClone installed, as there may be transitional problems.

As to assets, these can simply be copied over. Once content is validated, it stays validated also for newer versions.

In iClone 7, you can now direct access content from the iClone 6 Template folder by selecting the Package tab in Content Manager and then Custom.
