- When you purchase content with either an iContent or Export License from Reallusion, you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display any content generated by both iClone and Character Creator. You are authorized to use any rendered image or video output containing models within iClone and/or Character Creator for commercial, industrial, educational, or personal projects. You may sell and redistribute your render(s) created with iClone and Character creator and retain full ownership and usage rights to the output media in image or video format, within the output guidelines outlined in the EULA.
- Mass Distribution Rights for Exported 3D Content
- If the 3D Content (mesh, motion) you have purchased contains an Export License, then Reallusion grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to export this content via 3DXchange into .fbx, .bvh, .obj, .abc, or any other 3D file format. You may then embed the converted content into games and applications that are for personal, commercial, industrial, or educational projects.
- These 3D Content must not be available for public download or use, regardless of whether or not they are paid or free. Reallusion content itself may not be repurposed and resold in an external content library regardless of format, under any circumstances.
- (CC) The unique topology of CC Characters is Reallusion’s property. You cannot repurpose them into any other 3D formats, mass distribute them, or sell them in any other marketplace without getting explicit permission from Reallusion.
- If you wish to export these 3D Content to any 3D format and include it in your own game titles, apps or interactive applications for public mass distribution then:
- Please provide your title information and url, and contact Reallusion marketing@reallusion.com to register your title.
- By registering you can get Reallusion’s written license for free, while gaining valuable feature promotion opportunities by Reallusion.

Being totally new to this I need advice. I wish to purchase a bundle "CC Essential Morphs & Skin for CC3" but am told that you need to have "Vampire Teeth" which is an Essential Morth and is not available to buy with cash. You have to pay in DA points.
So I bought 1,000 points, and when I click on the Vampire Teeth it says it's not available for purchase. Or less I am wrong, it means that I can not then buy the bundle as the teeth are a requirement. Is this right? As I've said, I'm completely new to this
site, and need advice.

The CC Essential Complete Bundle can be purchased from the link below. I'd recommend the complete bundle which includes the essential clothing as well. You don't need anything else to purchase this bundle.

If not why does it say that it is an essential part of the package and you need it?
Just don't want to buy all that content and find that I can't use it.

If you buy either of the packs I supplied links for, these will install and be fully usable from the get go.
Can you post a link to where it says you need these particular teeth to be able to use the CC Essentials. Thanks.

You don't have to pay extra to use the characters you create in a game. If you create a character using the default content that comes with Character Creator 3 Pipeline then there are no additional charges to put that character in a commercial game. However if your character uses content purchased from the Content Store, such as additional clothing, hair or accessories then you will need to purchase the export license version of the content pack to be able to export.

You can import your own clothing, hair and accessories into Character Creator 3 Pipeline but not custom characters.
CC3 will allow you to send the existing base mesh to other software where you can create new morphs but you can't just import custom characters you have created yourself in other software.

Regarding the content store in general, I'd like to see an addition:
When you view an item (or perhaps when you go to purchase an item) I would like the store to remind me if I've already purchased that item.
Perhaps with a message stating "You have already purchased this item."
This would avoid a trip to "My Orders" and doing a search for unsure items, or double-purchasing an item.
If this post is in the wrong forum, perhaps a forum leader could move it to the right place.

Thank you for the feedback. We do plan to add a mechanism at checkout that will warn you if you have purchased the content before. It may take a little time to implement but it is on the way. :)

I am very new to the site and animation too. I looked at the packs available for 2D animation. The bundle says CC4 Pipeline and Pro. I want to buy Pipeline.
Below is available only with bundle Pro.
G3 Human - Vector Buddies Character Assembly System
and this is available with the pipeline.
360 Head Tools
Does it mean pipeline will have vector buddies available and don't need to buy? Or should I buy them separately if I want it?
Also; what is the resource bundle (free) that is downloaded as a promotion. What is in them?
Let me know please.

Hi...
Both the "G3 Human - Vector Buddies" and "360 Head Tools" are content packs that can be purchased separately or as part of a bundle with Cartoon Animator 4. So if you purchase the Pipeline version you will get the "360 Head Tools" as part of the bundle. If you also wish to have the G3 Human - Vector Buddies then this will require separate purchase.
The Resource Pack includes a number of additional content items for CTA4 to help you get started and also includes some older content that came with earlier versions like G2 characters.

Do we have G4? In the future, if you release G5, G6. will they be automatically updated?

G2 characters do come with the full version. You can see them in the image below.
There are currently no G4 characters. The latest character types in CTA4 are the G3 360 characters. These are standard G3 character bodies with the new 360 heads.
Normally new generations of characters come with major upgrades and are not backwards compatible. So for example, if a G5 character was introduced for Cartoon Animator 5 these characters would not be compatible with version 4 or earlier. However, you can always load older generations of characters such as G1, G2 and G3.

I am totally new to iClone and Character Creator. I just bought the software two days ago.
Just a question.
If an item/asset is tagged as FREE or the price is 0 in Reallusion Content Store or Reallusion Marketplace, does it mean, it's ROYALTY FREE.
I'm just a little confused because some other sites I used before require Attribution when an item is for FREE Download.

The content is royalty free for use in video or image form generated by your Reallusion software. You can't resell or share the actual assets with anyone else.

I am a newbie and I want to buy complete 3D Character Design and Animation Bundle (990 $) . I will also use Face Motion Capture and I have few questions regarding that:
1. What other Plugins do I need for that. Do I have to buy Motion Live Plug- in (100 $) plus Facial Mocap Profile (399 $)or just Motion Live plugin and install free Live face from App store to connect it to the I phone?
2. What version of IPhone do I need. Is it IPhone X and above?
3. If I decide to use a PC Camera what extra do I need beside 3D Character Design and Animation Bundle. Do I have to buy this Faceware Mocap Profile(1.590 $)?
4. What about creating a men's hair in Character Creator? I see that it is possible with Headshot - auto option, but the quality of the hair is very bad. Any other suggestions on creating and adjusting the hair?

For facial mocap using iPhone you will need the Motion LIVE 3D plug-in, the Live Face gear profile and the free Live Face app for your iPhone.

You will need an iPhone X, 11 or 12 (any model) or the latest iPad Pro (any model). Note: The iPhone SE is not compatible.

If you wish to use a webcam instead of the iPhone option, then you will need the Faceware Mocap Profile which is a more expensive option if you already have a compatible iPhone.
4. What about creating a men's hair in Character Creator? I see that it is possible with Headshot - auto option, but the quality of the hair is very bad. Any other suggestions on creating and adjusting the hair?
Character Creator 3 doesn't currently create hair (other than via Headshot) but will have an update that adds some hair creations tools in the future. For now you can purchase ready to go hair packs from us or easily import any hair from sites like Daz3D which has 1,000's of styles to choose from.

I'm quite interested in that and I've purchased points directly from the link from this ad, and I've also purchased content with the points andwithout them. Still no free points. How do i obtain them?

When you purchase any content from the Content Store it will appear in "Smart Gallery" within Character Creator 3. You just then need to double click the thumbnail to install it. Once installed it will show up under the Template tab of Content Manager. Any content you import and save yourself will appear under the Custom tab of Content Manager.
Note: There is also a download link for any Content Store purchases on the Order History page of your Reallusion Account.

I do not have export licenses but as I am using another Reallusion product I am assuming this is ok? Please could you confirm - thank you

Yes you can render images of iClone characters and then use these images to create your own G3 characters.
No export license will be required and the created characters can be used in your own animated videos. :)

Refund? Fantasy Playset - Assassins (Official Reallusion Content)
I purchased this set a few days ago, but I can't seem to get textures higher than 1024 in the cloth. I find this regrettable and am considering a refund. I've purchased other official Reallusion content before and higher texture resolution is available. Also, nowhere on the product page does it even mention resolution, so I feel I've been mislead.
Am I missing something? I love the products and character creator, so I feel I might be at fault.

If you open the clothing in the Appearance Editor then you can set the resolution to 2048 and then save the clothing to your Custom content.

As far as I know there is no way around this.
However, when you try to export, it warns you and you can automatically add the necessary products to your cart by clicking the buy products link from the help menu and see it from there.
Since some very old products do not have an export license, you can never export them.
It would be really nice if they could come up with a solution to this with CC4.

go to your member page --> Order history You will have a list of all your purchases and in the "Export" column it says "YES" if you bought with the export license, otherwise it says "UPGRADE". If you have "UPGRADE" and you want to buy the "EXPORT" version just click on "UPGRADE", the price to pay will be the difference between the "icontent" and the "export" version.  |

I just started using unreal engine and iclone live link. I have purchased quite a bit of iclone animation without export license. Can I get a blanket export license for all of my purchases. I tried to buy a license for a couple of the animations but after the purchase the animation still doesn't work in livelink? Message says I have to purchase and takes me to the checkout page where it shows I already purchased?

I went to the order history and upgraded my motion purchases. I still cannot export FBX. Message in clone when I try to export FBX says I have to upgrade. Do I have to enable something in iclone, or should the export upgrades work automatically?

Have you tried the enable option from the Help menu?
Secondly, you may have used something else that doesn't have an export license other than the animations (like Clothing, you can see them on the purchase page)
Finally, you can delete the package from Smart gallery and reinstall it.

The version of the program does not matter for the content you purchase. By pressing the refresh button in the Content Manager section of the program, you can display the newly purchased products and download them from there.
